PDMS/E3D Administrator

Position: PDMS/E3D Administrator

Location: Kraków, Poland

Contract type: Full-time permanent

Responsibilities

  • Project set-up, administration and user support for Aveva PDMS/E3D

  • Understands the scope of each project and has the capability to create PDMS database structures
    that will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the project databases

  • Responsible for end-user training on the usage of customization. This includes class room/remote
    training and preparation of training material

  • Interact directly with users/discipline leads and document requirements and special needs related
    to project designs and needs

  • Establish procedures/specifications for projects and company standards relating to use of PDMS

  • Coordinate with the designers from the respective engineering disciplines to meet the project
    deliverables with timeliness and quality

  • Troubleshoot and escalate appropriately any technical issues and follow-up for quick resolution

  • Project specific customization of system and writing macros as per project needs and for further
    checking the quality of PDMS outputs

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively function in a team
    environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience from PDMS or E3D related administration and desig

  • Good command of written and spoken English

  • Knowledge of creating catalogues and specifications (PARAGON and SPECON Module)

  • Very good knowledge of Design Module

  • Good knowledge of creating 2D drawings (Draft/Draw)

  • Administration of Draft Module

  • Knowledge of converting, importing and exporting 3D data

  • Familiar with or has been exposed to Aveva’s PDMS global application.

  • Knowledge on PML

  • MDS Administration

  • Knowledge on .net (C#.net or PML.net)

Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway (Client’s office in Bergen, Norway can also be considered)

Contract type: Contract – up to 24 months

Responsibilities

  • Working with newbuilds and modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf

  • Participate in the preparation of Feasibility Studies, Detailed Engineering related to wind power. Coordination with 3rd parties and subcontractors

  • Responsible for the preparation and creation of 3D steel structures, arrangement and detail drawing, structure calculations

  • Responsible for the follow-up and evaluation of supplier documents and drawings.

  • Responsible for the preparation of Cost Time and Resource (CTR), Material Take Offs (MTO) and Weight Input Estimation, partial and final deliveries

  • Participate in Design Reviews, client and supplier meetings, Risk Assessment,

  • Contribute to tenders and studies

  • Offshore inspections

Requirements:

  • University degree in civil or naval engineering

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar environment

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structure

  • Experience with point cloud would be an asset

  • Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk, Bentley, other)

  • Proficiency in Robot Structural Analysis

  • Knowledge of industry international standards and codes, NORSOK, DNV, IEC standards

  • High motivation

  • Creativity along with ability to share the concepts and knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Readiness to on-site trips as part of design engineering

Electrical Engineer

Position: Electrical Engineer

Location: Stavanger, Bergen, Norway 

Contract type: Contract – up to 24 months

Qualifications:

  • Technical, Bachelor or Master degree within electrical engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years' experience

  • Experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Additional electrician, instrumentation or automation certificate is an advantage.

Job description/Work tasks:

  • Study, engineering design and project execution

  • Contribute in CTR-activities/offers, both installation and project related

  • Electrical/Instrument/ Drilling Control field engineering

  • Supplier follow-up

  • Field hook up engineering

  • Work packages

  • Installation follow-up, red mark-up documentation, final documentation

  • Offshore surveys, installation follow up and yard stays

  • Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work

  • Contribute in project(s) and deliver on time and budget assigned work tasks

  • Report costs, progress and deviation to technical lead/package engineer or project managers

Experience/ Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the Petroleum industry standards, rules and regulations such as PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, OLF, DNV and IEC.

  • Experience with modification work at fixed and mobile drilling units on NCS

  • Preferable experience within some or all of the following areas:

    • Power distribution systems with load calculations

    • 3rd party hookup and documentation (Z015N)

    • Drilling equipment and systems

    • Winterization, heat tracing with power distribution

    • Engineering and design of the above mentioned

  • Trained for and experienced with EX, Exi and ATEX equipment and regulations

  • Experience with project deliveries and key customers' expectations

  • Experience with all relevant laws, regulations and standards according above mentioned topics

  • Offshore training + heath certificate

  • Preferable familiar with following programs:

    • Autocad

    • Febdok

    • Client systems like SAP, Procosys and others

    • MS Office software

Personal skills:

  • Committed, motivated and safety conscientious

  • Creative and constructive

  • Determined and result oriented

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, Norwegian and English as a minimum

  • Team player and developer

  • Ability to work independently and in teams

  • Extensive computer skills
